WATERMELON POPS

A great resource that I've been enjoying as a parent is the age-appropriate magazines from Focus on the Family available
here. I recently got this recipe from them.

What you need:

* watermelon
* wooden craft sticks or skewers
* cookie cutters
* Ziploc plastic bag

What you do:

1) Cut watermelon slices 1 inch thick.
2) Have your child cut shapes out of the slices with a cookie cutter. Insert a wooden stick into each shape.
3) Let your child stack the watermelon pops in a Ziploc bag and freeze for 30 minutes.
4) Unwrap and enjoy a cool treat!
