This new song really blessed me today. If you have time, listen to the words. I praise Jesus with every fiber of my being for his unfailing love towards me. If you don't yet know His peace...call out to Him. He is waiting to forgive you, to save you, to love you and to give you a hope like no other. Judgement day is coming. Every person will spend eternity somewhere. Do you know where you will? We have all failed a holy God with our sin -- I am just as guilty. But He loves us, is drawing us, and wants us to recive his mercy today. It's all because of Jesus that we can find forgiveness. Open up God's Word, the Holy Bible. In this scary day and age that we live, it's the only place to find truth. He will meet you there. We will still go through trials, but He carries us through them. I urge you to respond to His prompting on your heart today. You will never regret it!

HELP PROTECT FAMILY RIGHTS!
A letter from HSLDA::
Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,
Monday in a Harlem middle school, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice told a group of 120 students that administration officials are actively discussing "when and how it might be possible to join" (that is, ratify) the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). As before, she also communicated what a disgrace it is that the U.S. would stand with only Somalia against such a widely accepted treaty.
This is the first direct public statement by the Obama administration that it will seek ratification of the UN CRC.
In my 30 years of political involvement, I have learned to recognize this as what is called a "trial balloon." Like in World War I trench warfare, our opponents have "sent up a balloon" to see if it will draw fire. If things remain quiet, they will proceed with their plans to push for ratification of the CRC in the U.S. Senate. To discourage them from doing so, we need to make sure that our voices are heard with unmistakable clarity. We must let the Obama administration know that we oppose this anti-family, anti-American treaty.
Action
Here's what we need you all to do:
1. Call the White House comments line at 202-456-1111. Tell them you heard the administration wants to ratify the CRC, and you strongly oppose this giving away of U.S. sovereignty to the UN. Also, keep in mind that this treaty gives the government jurisdiction to override any decision made by any parent if the government thinks that a better decision can be made-even if there is no proof of any harm.
(You can also e-mail a comment to -- http://www.whitehouse.gov/CONTACT/, which is what I did because I couldn't get through on the phone lines!)
2. Contact your senators and urge them to oppose ratification of this treaty. (Find your senators' contact information by using HSLDA's Legislative Toolbox.) Ask them also to defeat it once and for all by cosponsoring SJRes 16-the Parental Rights Amendment.
It is very important that we speak up right now.

"All it takes to be a heretic is to stop repenting."
Mark Driscoll quoted someone with this in a message I listened to today from 2 Peter 2:1-10 on the topic of false teachers. (I didn't quite get the name of who he was quoting...) He had some very thought provoking points and gave this definition of a heretic: "a person who claims to be a Christian, but holds a false belief on a primary Christian doctrine."
A heretic is not:
* someone who professes to be a non-Christian
* a new Christian humbly sorting out his/her theology
(we are to help them, not condemn them)
* a person with a difference in secondary theology
* someone who made a mistake or said something wrong, but truly believes the truth
A false teacher/heretic/wolf is: (can be just one of these, or all of these)
A person claiming to be a Christian, but ...
* teaches things that oppose the Bible -- promotes herecy
* does not repent or recant
* allows people to sin and even encourages it "loose living"
* judges what God did
* is in it for greed
* walks in lust/practices sexual sin
* despises authority

THIRTY-TWO YEARS/THIRTY-TWO THINGS I'M THANKFUL FOR!
Yes, tomorrow is my birthday. As I get older, I don't seem to mind them quite so much when I'm turning an even number. It's always easier to remember how old I am when it's an even number. :) We have wonderful plans for tomorrow, which I am very excited about, but I also wanted to celebrate by listing 32 things I'm thankful for.
1) A relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, without whom I would have no hope!
2) A husband who loves me way more than I deserve.
3) A Christ-centered marriage
4) Four beautiful, happy, healthy children
5) A sweet baby at the feet of Jesus
6) The Word of God
7) Prayer
8) Four parents who loves us dearly
9) The body of Christ
10) Deep, meaningful friendships -- both old and new (including my sister!)
11) Our church body
12) Forgiveness
13) The homestead God has entrusted us with for the time being
14) The journey we are on in Montana -- I love living here!
15) The ability to watch my children learn and grow on a daily basis
16) Homeschooling freedoms
17) Horses -- because they make my daughters happy. :)
18) Mountainous sunsets
19) Early morning walks alone, although rare, I do enjoy it -- even if it's only to do chores!

THOUGHTS ON FAITH BY GEORGE MULLER

* We need to increase in more simple confidence in God for everything which we may need under any circumstances.
* Answers to prayer may encourage us to pray in regards to:
---- conversion of friends and relatives
---- our own progress in grace and knowledge
---- the state of the saints whom we may know personally
---- the state of the Church of GOd at large
---- success of the preaching of the gospel
* All believers are called upon, in the simple confidece of faith to cast all their burdens upon Him; to trust in Him for everything, and not only to make everything a subject of prayer, but to expect answers to our petitions which we ask according to His will, and in the name of the Lord Jesus.
* By the grace of God I desire that my faith in God should extend towards EVERY thing, the smallest of my own temporal and spiritual concerns, and the smallest of the temporal and spiritual concerns of my family, towards the saints among whom I labour, the Church at large, everything that has to do with the temporal and spiritual prosperity of the Scriptural Knowledge, etc.
* Faith with every fresh trial of it, either increases by trusting God, and thus getting help, or it decreases by not trusting Him; and then there is less and less power of looking simply and directly to Him, and a habit of self-dependence is begotten or encouraged.
* Either we trust in God, and in that case we neither trust in ourselves, nor in our fellow men, nor in circumstances, nor in anything besides; or we DO trust in one or more of these, and in that case do NOT trust in God.
* We should not shrink from opportunities where our faith may be ried, and, thaerefore, through the trial, be strengthened.
* The more I am in a position to be tried in faith with reference to my body, my family, my service for the Lord, my business, etc., the more shall I have opportunity of seeing God's help and deliverance; and every fresh instance, in which He helps and delivers me, will tend towards the increase of my faith.

MISSIONS TEAM COMING TO VISIT!
We are very excited to have a missions team coming in August to our home town from a Calvary Chapel in Indiana. One of the things they plan to do while here is THIS drama. What a wonderful demonstration of salvation. Though we don't know exactly what this trip will look like, or what our involvement will be, we are very excited to see God move in our small town and be a part of it! Praise Him!!!
