EBAY

Ebay has been my friend this past week. Though I have purchased an item or two on it over the years, my favorite thing to do is SELL STUFF! Since we're getting ready to move in the next couple of weeks, I have been sorting through our household collections. A group of moms in the community always get together for an annual yard sale, which we use all proceeds to purchase more Bible studies to do together, but some stuff just isn't yard sale worthy. It's not worth anything to most people, but to the right person, it's worth a lot. That's why I like Ebay.

I recently sold 3 items and made some good money. All of it was home school curriculum that I won't use and was probably given to me at some time or another from other well-meaning home school families that were just cleaning off their shelves. (Don't get me wrong...we do use a lot of our hand-me-down home school stuff!) :) Yes, it can take some time to put things on ebay, but I'm learning it's well worth thinking about what may be a blessing to some other family out there and also a blessing to lighten the load in my own home! Now I can turn around and use the money towards stuff we WILL use and won't just clutter up my house!
