HOME IMPROVEMENT UPDATE
With the exception of closet doors and paint on the entry door, our entry is FINISHED!! Now, after a little break, we'll hopefully dive into the school room! We've also been working very hard on our interior trim in our living room, dining room and hallway. Everything just takes so much time, especially when you have a busy family! The framed cards in the last picture, which are hard to see, were made in Thailand by some girls who were freed from sex slavery and have now come to know Jesus. They make these cards as an income for their families. They were so beautiful, I just had to frame them. It reminds me to pray for them.

This resonates with me as we did a MAJOR renovation in our home which took a very LONG time...because we have four children and LIFE, etc...just like you...minus the farm!! :) It all looks beautiful! You must be soooo pleased! A very functional entry way is a blessing! It is wonderful that you can have a dedicated school room too...you'll LOVE it when it is done! Hang in there and don't get discouraged...it will come together and you will enjoy the benefits. It is easy to get "down" in the midst of the mess, but this too shall pass!

wow i didn't know that the entry way used to look like that. That is simply amazing! Way to go! :)
I agree...it is tricky to keep it all in proper perspective, but "one day at a time" is the best (and only) way to tackle it! Remember that in the ordinary every day things is when our children learn how to handle things in a godly way...by our example. What a blessing that the Lord is always there to forgive and instruct...we fail but He never does! I have found my children to be very forgiving as well...so it truly is a journey together!
