WEEKEND GETAWAY
What an amazing, relaxing weekend we had! Evan took me to Thermopolis, WY, where we spent most of the weekend just relaxing -- something we both desperately needed. It's about 4 hours from where we live, but the weather cooperated for the most part on the roads, and the time we had together was priceless.
Thermopolis has natural hot springs or mineral pools. The smell reminded me a lot of Yellowstone, but soaking in them was wonderful! We walked through their downtown, ate at an amazing restaurant for dinner Saturday night, where we watched deer eating right outside the window of the restaurtant, and drove through some beautiful country, especially coming home today. On our way home, the roads were clear enough that we were able to go over the Big Horn Mts. and see some new territory that we had never been before. I can't imagine what heaven will be like because the beauty we saw today was just breathtaking. Though pictures can't do it justice, I'm posting a few for you to see.
A huge thanks to Jamie and Tandra for taking such good care of our kids while we were gone, and to Steve and Barb for taking such good care of our critters while we were gone! Without all your help, we couldn't have done this. Thank you. I feel very blessed, refreshed, and maybe just maybe ready to face another Monday. :D

How wonderful you were able to get away for those few days...God is so kind to us, isn't He? Your pictures are lovely ~ aren't the mountains majestic? I love to be able to see the mountains every morning from my kitchen window (when it's not raining or cloudy). :)
Have a lovely week my friend!
Love,
Camille
